Towel and swimming costume, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat and camera.
Note: Drysuits (May to Sept) customers should wear normal clothes underneath (thermal, fleeces, polyprop underwear, wool socks, trousers etc)

Akaroa Township is a quaint, French inspired seaside village which is very romantic and unique in New Zealand. It's the only place on the planet where you can swim with the world's smallest and rarest dolphins - the Hector's or New Zealand dolphin.
Black Cat Cruises operate a jet-powered catamaran for ultimate safety for you and the dolphins. Everything is provided including wetsuits, masks, snorkels, hot showers, hot chocolate and a free gift pack. And we'll also take optional photos of you swimming with dolphins.
The three house includes half an hour before for briefing and putting on the wet suits, two hours on the water and up to 45 minutes in the water with dolphins, and half an hour afterwards for debrief, hot drink, shower and photos (optional).

6.00am, 8.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 9.00am, 11.30am, 2.30pm, 4.30pm, 6.30pm.
Departure Point: Main Wharf or 61 Beach Road, Akaroa (departs 30 minutes after check in). Return time is when customers ready to leave wharf.
Tour Length: 3 hours
