Schedules, dive site movements and number of dives planned are subject to weather and other conditions and are executed by the Master of the Vessel for the benefit and safety of all passengers and crew on the day.

6.45 am Free pick-up from city accommodation.
7.30 am transfer to the outer reef via Fitzroy Island.
9.45 am  Arrival at the reef.
11.00 am  Lunch.
12.30 pm  1st dive.
2.30 pm Transfer to next dive site.
4.00 pm 2nd dive.
6.00 pm Dinner then NIGHT DIVE.

5.30 am  Wake-up call.
6.00 am  First dive of the day.
7.00 am  Breakfast.
7.30 am  Transfer to next dive site.
9.00 am  Second Dive.
12.00 pm  Lunch.
2.30 pm Transfer to next dive site.
4.00 pm 3rd Dive.
6.00 pm Dinner Dive.

Departs: Please be down at E Finger at the Marlin Marina in Cairns by 7am for a 7:30am departure. Transfers from Cairns City accommodation start at 6:45 am..

Returns: You will return at 4:45pm on the third day.

This course provides you with the theoretical skill and the practical skill that you require to dive anywhere in the world. The rescue course prepares you for practically any diving situation by teaching you the proper way to take care of yourself and others. Course instruction includes helping you obtain valuable and life saving skills as well as learning CPR.
Please note: Rescue divers courses can only be undertaken with previous Open Water and Advanced Dive Training.

Trial dive is a 10 minute dive experience, down to the five metre bar, to see if you would like to complete an intro dive. If you do, it will cost you $50 to complete the introductory dive with your instructor.

What to Bring:
Towel, sunscreen, Open Water Certification card, swimming costume, sunglasses, money for drinks, change of clothes and warm jumper/jacket for cooler evenings.

All courses are taught in English, however manuals and exams are available in other languages.

Liveaboard Diving with CDC This is diving at it's best! Using state of the art diving equipment, explore some of the best dive sites on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You will see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swim-throughs. Experience the unbelievable thrill of Night Diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Sumptuous meals are prepared by our experienced chefs. Spend the evening relaxing in the Lounge Bar or out on deck to see the brilliant night sky.

MV Kangaroo Explorer
The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 25-metre catamaran specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising. Each of the 16 cabins (twin, double and 4-berth) are fully air-conditioned, carpeted, have their own en-suite facilities and port hole or window. On the main deck there is a spacious saloon served by a top class galley and a well stocked bar. The top deck offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck. There is a library situated in the sun lounge for your convenience. The Kangaroo Explorer is equipped with a spacious dive deck providing easy access to and from the water.

This is a unique opportunity to cruise and dive through one of the world's great natural wonders in style and comfort. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast then relax on the sundeck between dives and let the world drift slowly by enjoying the remoteness of you location. As dusk settles, get ready for a possible night dive. Our chef will tantalise your taste buds with excellent meals freshly prepared on the boat. Most dietary requirements are catered for.
